We went to Walmart and bought Beck a $6 pool, and it has been one of our best investments ever! He wants to be out there all the time (even at 8:30 in the morning before the sun is even up). I got this idea from Bree last year to put the slide into the pool, and it is so fun! A short anticipation...

Then he gets to sit in his chair and blow bubbles while he lets the sun warm him up. You can't tell from this picture, but he has purple lips even though it was 90+ degrees outside. 
We are having such a good time this summer. We like to keep it pretty low key, but to a 3-year-old, you just can't beat your own pool in the backyard. It gets a little hot in the afternoon for me, but it's nothing that a little patch of shade and a glass of Kool-Aid can't fix.
