What a fun weekend! On Saturday, we bundled up Beck and headed to the Utah game. They were playing Utah State (I may be a traitor, but I cheered for Utah). Unfortunately, instead of raining a little bit like predicted, it decided to snow! Gotta love Utah! Beck still had so much fun watching the guys tackle each other, but he decided it was time to go half way through the third quarter (right after the awesome Sakoda punt fake). Beck looked like ET in his huge poncho, waddling through the puddles. It was so funny! I would have taken pictures, but we didn't want to get the camera ruined in the snow.
That night we went out to Market Street for dinner with Jewkes. Beck and Carmen had fun playing with Carmen's light-up My Little Pony. It is so nice to have a standing weekend date with them. We have to get our weekly dose of the Jewkes or we're just not ourselves.
After naps and dinner on Sunday we drove up Little Cottonwood Canyon with my mom to see the leaves. They were so bright with the evening sun on them. This is definitely my favorite time of the year. Then we went back and had brownies at Grandma Connie's house then headed over to Grandpa Dennis' house just for a quick hello! It was a really nice, relaxing, fun weekend.
