This Is the Place

We decided to take a chance and go up to This is the Place Park yesterday. That place is so awesome! I was pleasantly surprised at all the fun stuff there was to do! We spent 2-1/2 hours there and we only saw about half of the stuff there was to see.
With grandma on the train. CHEESE!
At Brigham Young's house.
He got to help drive the covered wagon but he hated all the flies that flock around the horses.
Beck absolutely loved the village of playhouses. He has decided that Scott needs to build him one now...because Dad can build anything!
We found this goat just sitting halfway out of the fence. He was nice.
Ride 'em cowboy!
Writing his name on the slate at the schoolhouse.
Beck got to do some laundry on the washboard and hang it on the clothesline.
The park is about to close for the summer, but we bought a membership and plan to go back lots next summer. Beck loved to see all the old cabins, the bowery that had a straw roof, and he loved picking out penny candy at ZCMI. It was really fun!

That looks like fun. We have never been there. Too bad my kids are too old to take and appreciate it. Beck looks like he had a great time and I picture him telling you he didn't like the flies. And about the little cabin, I know that Scott could build one. I agree. He can build anything! He's amazing! (Troy would help him too).
