We have really enjoyed watching the Olympics this year. My absolute favorite was watching women's beach volleyball. These women are AWESOME! They absolutely dominated everyone they played. It was so great to watch! It made me want to go play so bad!
We also loved watching Rogers and Dalhausser play. It was so exciting to see them get gold because Dalhausser is considered to be a rookie (only having played for about three years) and he just stole the show. He was blocking everything they tried to hit and he is so freaking quick for such a huge guy!
I got a kick out of watching men's gymnastics and I loved to see how happy they were to get bronze after watching the girls get so upset to have to settle for silver. They were so cute!
I also liked watching Laura Wilksinson dive. Although she didn't medal, it was interesting to watch her story and see what a great attitude she has. I think it is amazing that this was her third Olympics and that she is considered quite ancient in the Olympic community (she is 30).
I have the greatest respect for these hardworking and talented athletes. Way to go U.S.!
