Today is the 31st anniversary of Elvis' death and so I felt I needed to do something to commemorate. I know most people don't understand, but I absolutely love Elvis. He is my favorite ever, and I think he always will be. I'm posting some of my favorite pictures of Elvis that I've always loved. This one is from the 1956 concert that he played back in his hometown.
This is from the press conference he gave right when he was released from the Army.
And Elvis with Lisa Marie. This video is my favorite performance that Elvis ever had. It is the famous performance on The Ed Sullivan Show when they would only broadcast Elvis from the waist up. However, that cannot stop Elvis' charisma from jumping off the screen.

I am so fascinated by Elvis' life and I am sad that he died so young. I think it is amazing that he was able to rise from having absolutely nothing to becoming the biggest superstar ever! Sad day.
