Goodbye Old Friend

Today is a sad day in the Smith Family. We had to say goodbye to our cruiser this afternoon. As dumb as it sounds...it was hard to see it go. We have had this car for seven years and Scott has put so much blood, sweat, tears, and money into this car that it almost feels like a part of the family. Beck kept saying how much he was going to miss the cruiser, and I feel the same way.

A guy in Indiana bought the Cruiser so it had to be shipped out there. We watched as they loaded it onto the truck.

It is supposed to ship in the upright position, but because it is so tall they had to lower it or it wouldn't be able to fit under any overpasses.
Scotty saying one last goodbye.

However, out of our grief comes new adventure and a changing of the guard. Here is our new 1994 FJZ80 Landcruiser. It has so much more room for when we go camping and playing.
And here is our new 1994 4Runner.

Because of the price of gas, there are so many people desperate to get rid of their SUVs that we bought both cars for about the same price as we sold the Cruiser. Let's go wheelin'!

So sad to see the Cruiser go, but you are going to make a lot of memories with your new ones. Like you said, Camping and playing! We expect you guys to go camping more often with us. Still think about Labor Day, We hope you'll come when Scotty comes.
