We've been so focused on Owen's birthday that I almost forgot about all the other stuff that's been going on around here. Some friends and I have started a little group that celebrates each time one of us is going to become a grandmother. (I know I have a while before this becomes an issue for me, but since I've moved on from having babies of my own, they let me join the club....oh and it was my idea.)
We started by celebrating at brunch with Lisa who is having her first little granddaughter in about a month.
The next day, I got to go to brunch again for Mother's Day accompanied by some very handsome dates.
Last week was Beck's class play. They performed The Ugly Duckling. Beck was a ladybug.
He did a great job!
Here are the highlights from the show. Make sure you watch closely for when he sticks his arm down his pants to rearrange some things. He's not so subtle this kid.
