We decided to have a little bit different birthday party this year and we invited Creature Encounters over to our house. He brought a few friends with him, including two bearded dragons, four turtles, two scorpions, two tarantulas, three hissing cockroaches, and five snakes of various sizes.
Owen really liked the lizards.
I made a new spider friend.
Beck absolutely loved everything. He was in reptile heaven.
He especially like the scorpion.
Grandma Pauline was not really a fan.
Scott got up close and personal with this snake who was trying to whisper secrets to him.
Beck loved holding the python.
Baylee was so brave!
A little creepy but pretty dang cool.
Mal was kind of freaked out.
Owen was definitely nervous when it came to the big snake.
We tried and tried to coax him closer and closer. We thought this would be his limit, but....
Finally, he took a big dose of courage and held the tail. He was incredibly proud of himself.
It was a great birthday party!
