"Spring" Cleaning

Okay, so I know it's not spring yet, but as I was taking down all my Christmas stuff I noticed how dusty and dingy everything looked in my house. So this week I have started my "spring" cleaning, and it's going pretty slow. In my head, I figured I would take one morning for each room in the house and be done in about a week or so. That way I wouldn't get overwhelmed and quit. Well, yesterday I started in the kitchen. After four hours I am still only about one-third of the way done with just the kitchen! Yesterday I degunked the top of the cabinets and all the decorative pieces up there, washed the window, cleaned out the toaster, and scrubbed down the countertops. I still have so much to do in there (fridge, pantry, cupboards). Maybe I shouldn't have started with the kitchen...or maybe it will make every other room in the house seem super easy and fast. I don't know. But, I'm off to begin another morning of super duper cleaning and organizing. Wish me luck...I think I'll need it!
