I finally finished reading the book A Room with a View. I've got to tell you, it was a tough one for me to get through, and I usually love slow books like that. So yesterday I watched the movie. This movie has been hanging over my head for 11 years now, ever since my first year of college and Robyn kept bugging me that I just HAD to watch it. I have tried to watch it about eight times since then, but have never made it past the first 12 minutes. This time I was determined, and I am proud to say that I watched the whole thing. I probably won't watch it again. It was okay, but not my favorite. I just don't believe the characters. That has always been my problem with this book. The two main characters fall in love, but for no reason. They never even know each other. I just felt like there was no character development throughout the whole story. Maybe I'm wrong. If anybody else (Robyn) has another opinion, please share it with me and convince me otherwise, but at this point, this book will not be added to my personal library.

honestly I have never read the book...just loved the movie! Hello, naked men running around!!!! Also I have re reread some of the books I use to love and don't so much anymore......turns out I had a real warped perception of love (hence dating that wierdo Adam.)If you want a great read try Persuasion by Jan Austen....love it.
