UEA

We have been enjoying Beck's days off of school for UEA.
We started at Gardner Village to see the witches.

We found every single hidden witch and so won our chocolate chip cookies.

This warty witch with her pet frog was Owen's favorite.

Stylish witch outside of the stylish shops. (Notice Owen's stylish pose)

The next day, we headed up to the zoo.  My absolute favorite was that they fed the seals while we were there and so we got to see them practice all of their tricks - they did jumps, twirls, played fetch, waved to the crowd, and even let the handlers brush their teeth.  It was awesome!

The kids' favorite was the carousel.

Then over to Wendy's for a quick lunch and a frosty.

Me and my cute boy.

Then the big event.  Owen really wanted a haircut.  Like a real haircut.  Like a big boy haircut.  Like a short haircut.  Like Beck.  He had been talking about it for days and so we finally caved.
Before...

Sitting so still.

Halfway through.  I considered stopping the whole process at this point, but I didn't want to regress back to 1983.

Steering his fire engine.

After.
He is so handsome and yet doesn't look at all like Owen.  Beck literally walked right by him in the barber shop and didn't even recognize him.  He definitely got his wish and looks like a big boy.

Fun weekend!
