We did not waste our final week of summer. We got on Trax and headed downtown for one final day of fun.
Owen and Beck got right to work building their project.
Then they both got jobs as weathermen.
Beck wanted to test his skills as an engineer and tried to design an architecturally sound earthquake-proof building.
I think it was quite fitting that Owen ran the earthquake buttons.
Crap!
Owen was the cashier in the grocery store.
Beck was just a customer.
Scott was a great spotter for Owen
and then he had fun playing in the water feature trying to dam up the water.
Finally, the boys went on the helicopter and tried to briefly channel Uncle Jon.
After a yummy lunch, we walked down to Build-A-Bear and created perfect new friends.
Meet Teddy Jam
and Star Dog.
Trax is always so exciting when you're on your way to your activity. By the time you're going home....not so much. Owen was so tired, but he was also really afraid we would get off the train without him so he couldn't quite relax.
And just like that - Summer is over.
