Back Up A Second (& Christmas Day)

On the Sunday morning before Christmas, we decided to try something new and headed downtown to the Unitarian Church for their Christmas Pageant.  They acted out the story of Good King Wenceslas and then presented the Nativity.  It was sweet and funny and very cute.  We loved it!

That night, Grandma brought the boys their new Christmas jammies and we made Gingerbread creations.
Beck made a village.

Owen made a train.

On Christmas Eve morning, we set to work making cookies for Santa.  Delicious!

On Christmas Day we made the trek up to Dustin's house for quiche and sweetrolls.

We all crowded around the computer to talk to Jon and Tripp.

Love these two!

Opening our $5 Christmas presents.
Of course, Scott got Mountain Dew

Beck's new PJ bottoms.

Owen and his Skylander Giants.

We ate a lot, played games, watched football, and had lots of fun.

It's always a little sad when Christmas is over, but there's also a sense of renewal and possibility.
Bring on the New Year!
