Thanksgiving this year was a whole weekend, not just one day. It all started on Wednesday when Jon and Heather rolled into town. We met them at the mall for lunch and a quick visit with Santa....very quick. Tripp was not a fan of Santa. (He hasn't gotten the memo yet that this guy has all the toys.)
On Thanksgiving, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for our turkey dinner. Scott and Tyler are so cute!
The boys working hard in the kitchen...just as it should be.
Rosie and Tyler.
Jamie and Pauline.
Beck and Owen discovered Grandpa's new foozball table in the basement and set up residence there until our delicious dinner was served. Then we stuffed our faces, researched the best Black Friday shopping deals, had a spirited political debate, and played games.
Friday morning, we headed over to Grandma Connie's for sweetrolls, quiche, football, and, of course, the new ornaments for all of the kids. Owen loved his Ironman.
Beck got Captain America (Scott later received Thor to complete the Avengers set).
And the rest of the kids and their respective ornaments.
Saturday morning it was time to say goodbye to Jon; but first, breakfast.
All the Gibsons joined us.
Owen and his "Funny Face" pancakes. I think the two look remarkably similar.
Baby Tripp saying goodbye.
We finished the whole weekend with a movie on Sunday morning. We went and saw Wreck-It Ralph which was so cute! (I loved Q-bert!)
It was a great weekend. I was so thankful for lots of quality time with lots of family - especially Jon, Heather, and Tripp, who is so stinkin' adorable!
