I had "Lasik" done this week. It was basically Lasik but instead of making a flap to create the hole in my cornea for the laser to shoot through, they scraped away the cells to make the hole. So that means all week I have been waiting for the cells to fill back in. It wasn't super painful, just constantly irritating with flashes of "Oh my gosh! There's a rock in my eye!" As with any cosmetic surgery, I have included a before and after picture.

Okay....so you can't really tell any difference when you look at me. But here's my before and after of what I see when I look at you.
Before....

After...
As of yesterday, my vision was at 20/25 and the doctor said it's only going to continue to get better (my fingers are crossed for 20/15). It will be so nice to not have to deal with contacts and glasses and saline and pain and dryness - you get the point - it sucked to have contacts! Thanks Dr. Hoopes!
