Discovery

I just recently discovered Pinterest, and last night I finally found something that I wanted to try. I have been trying to find some skirts for the upcoming Spring season but I always have the problem of the skirts either being too short or too long. Because I'm so stinking short it's hard to find that perfect length where it just grazes the top of my knee. So Scott accompanied me to the fabric store and we found a funky sort of pattern that I could use to make an attempt.

Here's the finished product.

The whole project took me less than an hour to finish and cost me less than $8. I think skirts are going to be replacing shorts in my wardrobe this Spring because now I want one in every color!
