Random Stuff

We have been so busy as the summer starts to wrap up.  I ran in a race called The Gateway to La Caille.  It was a 7K that started at La Caille, ran up to Wasatch and back around, and finished at the end of the long uphill driveway of La Caille.  It was the hardest race I have done simply because of the steep grade and hill at the end.

However, the saving grace of this race was the beautiful scenery and that we got to have brunch at La Caille when the race was over.  Nothing special.....fruit, croissants, and eggs but it was a fun atmosphere and I think I'll probably do it again next year.

We went with Jeff and Nick to see Amos Lee up at Red Butte.
It was rainy but fun!

My big news is that we are under contract on a new home and we just received an offer on our house. We will move in the first or second week of September, but, because the owners have already moved out, I have been able to get in early and start painting the new house.

I also feel like I'm under a time crunch because I got a new job and I start in a week and a half.  I am going to do medical billing for a company that works as an advocate between rehab facilities and insurance companies.  I am so nervous to go back to work having been only "Mom" and out of the rat race for ten years, but I think this is a great opportunity and I jumped at the chance to work for this company.

Lots of exciting changes....wish me luck!
