It was time to say goodbye to Grandpa Smith today. Losing a grandparent is always hard. It's like a piece of your childhood is dying at the same time. So many memories are wrapped up in this one figure. But, at the same time, it's nice to know he has been released from the pain that he was enduring.
Grandpa was so kind, so loving, and so fun. Our family loved spending time with him. We will miss him very much!
